산타 마리아 데글리 안젤리(Santa Maria degli Angeli)는 리베라(Rivera) 위쪽의 알페 포파(Alpe Foppa)에 있는 인상적인 예배당입니다. 유명한 건축가 마리오 보타(Mario Botta)가 디자인한 이 예배당은 현대 건축과 영적인 평온함을 결합합니다. 눈에 띄는 보행자 다리가 건축물까지 극적으로 이어지며 티치노(Tessin)의 산악 세계를 조망할 수 있게 합니다. 내부에는 예술가 엔초 쿠키(Enzo Cucchi)의 강렬한 색채 작품들이 감동을 선사합니다. 이 예배당은 등산객과 문화 애호가들에게 인기 있는 목적지입니다. 자연, 예술, 성찰을 독특한 방식으로 결합하며 티치노의 건축적 하이라이트 중 하나입니다.

One of our favorite hikes in Ticino! Scenic driveway with the post bus from Magadino. Short climb from the Alpe di Neggia (unfortunately closed), magnificent view from Monte Gambarogno and a beautiful, comfortable descent to Alpe Cedullo (be sure to stop off). Mostly through Buchenwald down to Indemini and with the post bus (note the timetable!) back to Magadino.

Mandatory summit, because being at the top is everything 😜 Seriously: There are better views from the ridges in front.

From Monte Gambarogno (1734 m) you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Gulf of Locarno and Ascona seen from the left bank of the Verbano. The summit can be reached on foot from Alpe di Neggia, which can be reached by car or public transport. Thanks to its relatively low altitude, this mountain is a possible excursion destination almost all year round. On the return you can take the path to the Church of Saint Anne, which has valuable frescoes from the 14th-15th centuries. Century and comes to Indemini, one of the most authentic and picturesque villages in Ticino. (Source ticinotopten)

Restaurant located at the top station of the cable car and at the end of the climb on the Monte Lema III tour from Malcantone/Ticino-Bike. You'll definitely deserve a gazosa after the climb, while enjoying the incredible panorama over Lake Maggiore.

Very special and beautiful church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Mario Botta designed the church and I think it's very successful. I find the play of light and shadow in sunlight very successful. For me an absolute "must" in Ticino!
