Beautiful swimming lake, there is a lot to do here from slides to a water playground and a kiosk. There is also a washing area for bikes, really very good. 👍

It is around 300 meters long, a hundred meters wide and a maximum of seven meters deep. The lake is fed by the Rechnitzbach, which rises near Geschreibenstein. The entire bathing area covers an area of more than five hectares. The lake is the starting point for numerous hiking trails through the Geschreibenstein Nature Park. A campsite for tents and mobile homes is available to guests on the lake site. In winter the frozen lake is an ideal ice skating spot.

In my opinion the best trail of all here.

The buses leave from here on Saturdays, Sundays, as well as on window and public holidays. The shuttle buses start one hour after the trails open, the last ascent takes place one hour before closing time. Individual shuttle services can be requested at any time for small groups: +43 660 416 16 19. The shuttle tickets can be bought online or directly on the bus. We would like to point out that trail use is not included in the daily shuttle pass.
