The Luckerte Wand gets its name from a rock face that is riddled with holes like Swiss cheese. You can scramble around in it, but the best part is the view. Simply enjoy! There is also a table and benches upstairs where you can have a snack.

The Törlweg to the Otto Haus is undoubtedly one of the most impressive paths in the Rax area (although the other paths also offer magnificent views). The wealth of different sections, with shady wooded areas or through alpine natural gardens to stony passages and then after about 2 hours of ascent to stand in front of the Törl and have the imposing Otto house in front of you and knowing that this path used to be several times per week by Sigmund Freud creates a special feeling. Once at the top, the landscape invites you to linger and the Otto house to stop off. Afterwards, the hiker can decide which way to return to the valley, a tour over the plateau to the cable car and one of the descents there, or the Törlweg back to the Knappenhof?

The path along the Rax south wall ridge is very rewarding. From the Heukuppe to the cable car it is always easy uphill and downhill over stones and through pine fields, and there are permanently wonderful views of the valley. On top of that, with the Karl-Ludwig-Haus, Neuer Seehütte and Ottohaus you also pass 3 very beautiful huts.
