The Untersee, with its German and Swiss sides, forms a very pleasant landscape for cycling. Small, pretty villages with well-preserved historical places and buildings. The location on the Untersee allows for very varied views at all times of the day and in all weather conditions.

Such a beautiful landscape! Almost hard to believe that we're not in some tropical paradise!

There are free charging sockets at the Untertor. Very nice town center and a bike shop that offers tours and is happy to help.

With an area of around 62 km², the Untersee is the smaller of the two lakes in Lake Constance. Of these, 47 km² belong to Germany (Baden-Württemberg), and the remaining 13 km² to the Swiss cantons of Thurgau and Schaffhausen. There are three parts of the lake that merge into one another: Gnadensee with its Markelfinger Winkel in the northwest, Zeller See in the west (all in Germany) and Rheinsee in the south (in Germany and Switzerland). Fantastically beautiful view of Lake Constance

Lake Constance is a remarkable site, but also a historical and tourist hotspot. Between swimming and cycling, it is possible to visit the historic center of which many buildings date from the Middle Ages, which is remarkable in Germany, since most cities were bombed during the last war. Constance having escaped this thanks to its proximity to Switzerland, the city was able to keep its city center intact.
