Beautiful hut at 2000m altitude with a great view. When we were up, the weather was unfortunately rainy.

Great panoramic view of the Hohentauern with glaciers. Watching the paragliders is fun too. No shade Don't forget sunscreen. 😎🥵

A nice snack station with delicious food. There is a bus connection from the Zillertal.

Originally built at the beginning of the 1960s, the narrow mountain road - initially still a gravel road - was used by the farmers to manage the alpine pastures and to control the torrent. This was necessary in order to cope with the numerous floods in this area. Later it was also opened to tourists and gradually expanded. Cars and motorcycles pay tolls, but of course cyclists don't.

At the foot of the Brandberger Kolm is the highest point of hiking trail 8. Great view and after the wonderful natural ascent from the Schwarzachtal a culmination of the tour!
