Unfortunately, it has recently been banned for cyclists. Someone must have felt offended again.

This S2/3 trail starts just below the Balbach-Alm. Characterized by steep passages with tight curves, high root heels on earthy forest floor. In between there are also passages that are very pleasant to drive. A part goes down the ski slope in serpentines - very nice for practicing switchbacks (mobile). All in all, however, one must definitely master S2. Being able to drive S3 partially helps to add some fun here. Beware of hikers who like to take this trail uphill and downhill. At the very end there is currently a prohibition sign for bikers. Can't see why... If you take this part, please drive carefully!

Really good alpine trail

Very fat technical trail. Unfortunately, I drove in deep snow and he saved my ass a few times, because you can't see what you're driving.

On the way, the Pochersee invites you to cool off for a short while. Please pay attention to a good and fair togetherness - hikers always have priority. When planning, do not take the tour to the high-season times & on the weekends.

Just a few meters further north, above Zirl, the Alpenpark Karwendel opens 920 square kilometers of untouched nature. No cars, no cable cars or lifts disturb the protective flora and fauna in Tyrol's largest nature reserve. Zirl is a great starting point for mountain bike tours. If you feel like trying out another sport, Zirl is well known to climbers and offers challenging climbing walls. Innsbruck is only 10 kilometers away and can be reached by train. Thus, you have great access to the Tyrolean capital and the versatile bike offer in the area.
