A cool descent. Very rocky with lots of loose, sharp rocks. This is exactly what a bike trail should be. Pure nature. Not a groomed highway. 👍

Because of rockfall, two small detours via alpine hiking trails are necessary (S3). For most people this means pushing, but it only takes about 15 minutes. The detour is marked with red and white posts and leads back to the path. I wouldn't do the route uphill, though.

A ride on the First cable car 🚠 is an unforgettable experience! Start in Grindelwald 🏞️ and enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains 🏔️ during the ride up to the First station. Once you get to the top, numerous activities await you: hike to the picturesque Bachalpsee 🏞️, feel the adrenaline rush on the Cliff Walk 🧗‍♂️, or dare to take a fast ride on the First Flieger or the First Glider 🪂.

A hike around the donkey is recommended, but very time-consuming. Plan enough breaks. There are free-roaming cows on the mountain slopes that like to block the way. Cow dunk is a way of decorating here and there!
