Distance: approx. 5.9 km Duration: 1.5 hours Elevation gain: only ±106 m Trail characteristics: T1 (very easy), also accessible with a stroller. 🌊 Highlights of the tour The three Swiss stone pine lakes glisten with crystal-clear, deep-blue water – fed by melting snow. They often dry out in summer. Surrounded by ancient Swiss stone pines and larches on the Spittelmatten plateau, nestled in the high alpine backdrop of the Bernese Alps. At the rear of the lake, you'll find a well-equipped barbecue area with benches and firewood – ideal for a break. Best time: Late May to mid-July – depending on snowmelt. After that, the lakes often dry out. Opening hours: The Sunnbüel cable car operates seasonally – check the timetable!

The circular hike around Lake Daubensee 🌊 is an unforgettable adventure that leads you through a breathtaking alpine landscape! The thermal springs are within reach: Dramatic and poetic at the same time, the thermal springs footbridge leads a few meters above the stream bed into the wild Dala Gorge. The thermal springs footbridge is an imposing steel structure that leads through the Dala Gorge for around 600 meters. Some thermal springs spring up in the immediate vicinity of the stream bed. With a small cable pull, the warm thermal water can even be pulled up directly from a spring. A suspension bridge leads further to the roaring natural spectacle. At the waterfall that plunges 35 meters into the depths, you can feel the power of the water up close. A real refreshment in summer. At the end of the footbridge, there are three options for continuing the hike: to the waterfall viewing point, to the Majingsee and the Weidstübli restaurant or to the Buljes restaurant (see detailed route description).

Definitely worth it. Impressive gorge with beautiful waterfalls. You could also pass there in a wheelchair, but I don't think so. I wouldn't do that right away. Easy walk, at some points you should not be afraid of heights because you also have to climb ladders. All safe. Very nice change.
