The MTB routes M7 and M11 are a bit more challenging here on the Weiße Aist. The western section, with 60m of elevation gain and a partially washed-out path, is particularly challenging in both directions. On the eastern side, only a short section at the high stand is tricky due to roots. During the climb on the western side, you can take a break 😅

Flat and very nice trail. A bit muddy when (or after) rain

At the Grubmühle (pro mente shared apartment), the path leads through the middle of the yard and then after the concrete slabs over the stream to the forest. The first half is a wonderful MTB section, where you are sometimes even on a soft forest carpet. The second part from the road down to the right is tricky, but on the way up it becomes extremely steep after a bend and there is a lot of loose wood on the soft forest floor - I had to give up and overcome a section with push assistance (pulse about to explode). After the small hut, you could turn left onto the road (but it looks pretty wild), the last section up is less steep, then you come to a meadow path (lucky because it was freshly mown) and on coarse gravel along a house to the road. An easier alternative to the second part would be to follow the road to the left once you reach Oberhofstetten.

A "must" for every biker in this area. A great MTB route in both directions with narrow paths, forest paths and hardly any asphalt.

As the only unpaved path between Ruhstetten and the Gusental area, this route, which mostly leads downhill, is a must for every MTB rider traveling in the area.
