WARNING: The trail is currently difficult to ride and about half of it is destroyed. Trees are currently being cleared here.

The slag heap is worth it. From here you can see how the landscape changes. In the south you can see Dortmund with the foothills of the Sauerland and to the north you can see how it becomes increasingly flatter towards the Münsterland.

Nice to ride if you want few small jumps in it, mighty muddy in wet conditions

Great all-round visibility, as the top of the heap is free of large vegetation.

Wonderful jump line. Absolute fun trail! 👌 But be careful: not all edges can be rolled off! If you are still unsure, you should test beforehand. Who can: Have fun!

In my opinion this is the Eggendahler Freeride, the Nizzatrail is at a different point and ends in the Nizzatal

As of today, there were unfortunately a lot of thick branches on the lower section of the trail. It looked like they had been placed there on purpose. I was able to clear most of them away, but some are really too heavy. You just have to carry your bike over them. I wouldn't say that the trail is no longer rideable because most of it was really fun and is very well built. Further down, the trail splits, you have to keep to the left or you'll end up in the bushes ^^ EDIT: In the meantime (July 21st) the branches have been cleared away, riding on the trail is 100% fun again :)
