Well, you can't get enough of looking at it, it's your own fault if you drive past here... Can only be reached via steep stairs. If you drive the Rauschbergloop clockwise it goes down, uphill only recommended for Alpine crossers...😉🙋♂️

Since 1955, the mountain massif of the Rauschberg has belonged to the almost 100 square kilometer nature reserve of the eastern Chiemgau Alps, which also functions as a bird sanctuary.

Beautiful summit, it is best to climb it on foot when the cable car is closed for maintenance - then you have absolute peace here :-)

For the rear Rauschberg, sturdy shoes and surefootedness are a must. The path is very stony and rooty. Once at the summit, however, it is very overgrown.
