I still wonder who else "hikes" here and whether this path is/will be closed completely? Why can't they manage, as they do elsewhere, to get private owners and forest users to talk to each other and find a solution? For example, new routes, signage with explanations (like the one opposite in Altstätten). One thing is certain, as the Pfänder is a permanently heavily frequented destination, one or two people will continue to walk, drive or whatever down there...
