Very natural forest. Some of the climbs are quite steep, but definitely doable as there are flatter sections in between.

Enjoyable hiking on beautiful paths is guaranteed here. For those interested in technology, there is a lot to see with the pumped storage power station, the pipes and the reservoirs. But nature lovers will also get their money's worth.

Three hiking trails lead past the "Hermannshöhe" vantage point: Urwald, Kellerwald and Habichtswaldsteig.

You should definitely visit the large high storage reservoir. There are two more a small pool. For orientation, there is a large radio mast at the viewpoint. From the Berggasthof Waldbölker about 500 m uphill. The radio mast can be seen from afar.

On the Hermannshöhe there is a small rest area and a great view of the lake.
