Small, beautiful park to walk and relax

Some of the areas are now quite overgrown with blackberry shoots - spikes provide a "challenge" for clothing and possibly tires. Trail was also heavily overgrown in summer.

There are a number of single trails all around the quarry.

A beautiful piece of earth on the porphyry quarry on the Gützer Berg, with a great view of Landsberg behind a fascinating backdrop when you stand on the highest points of the quarry.

There is plenty of seating in Gimritzer Park and in spring you can see the flowers sprouting everywhere 🌷🌻 It is particularly pleasant for the walkers that bicycles are guided around the outside

The Gimritzer Park invites you to linger. Nicely located on the Peißnitzinsel.

Shortly before the departure to the park, a very nice MTB route is also good on foot. The park itself is well maintained.

It's fun, but beware of oncoming traffic!
