Bomb hole from World War II. Excerpt from an article: Tank hits Etzgen train station "30 people from Albbruck died in the hail of bombs," says Knecht. "The Allies wanted to destroy the bridge over the Rhine, but they failed. A bomb did land in the middle of the bridge, but it was a dud, fortunately. Instead, a bomb exploded in the forest between Schwaderloch and Mettau. The spot can still be seen today and is marked with a memorial plaque. Natalo's tip refers to the Homburg ruins, which are located near Läufelfingen. You can't see much of the ruins of Alt Homeburg. The Homburg family apparently "moved" from Wittnau to Läufelfingen :-)
