The play of colors of the mountains in the region is an impressive natural spectacle that can be observed especially at sunrise and sunset. The surrounding mountains of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains shine in various colors, ranging from delicate pink and orange tones to strong red tones. This play of colors is created by the reflection and refraction of sunlight on the rocks and snow surfaces of the mountains. Even a bike ride in daylight is enough to be deeply impressed by this landscape! 🤩

The best time to visit is not during holidays or weekends as everything is very crowded then.

Admittedly, riding the bikes (without batteries) in the mountains is quite arduous. But behind every bend, behind every mountain, every tree, there are new views to discover. And in summer, the blue contrast to the green of the Alps and of course the jagged rocks, a truly impressive sight, again and again...

There is almost always a tailwind towards Eng - downhill there is mostly a headwind and, depending on the strength, it can be quite annoying. 😉🤪😅
