A beautiful path along the Örtze River. Right by the water, narrow and close to nature. Just what you'd want. You'll need a sure footing, though. There are a lot of roots along the path.

Beautiful path along the Örtze river! Part of the Heidschnuckenweg between Müden and Poitzen. In summer and when it's hot, it's also popular with horseflies that lie in wait.

Actually only with gravel bikes/mountain bikes. Not recommended for touring cyclists! Very narrow, sometimes very sloping over short stretches.

There aren't that many good trails in the area, so take the chance.👌 No matter which way around, you can drive two or three times, lap of honor. In the evening few people are out and about. Section S0→S1
