I also rode the trail out of curiosity – I pushed my bike on the steep section and also heeded the owner's sign "No mountain bike trail! To protect the forest" therefore, no recommendation from me – private property should be respected!!!! I'll spare you further comments about the people who apparently created this trail. No one should be surprised if forest and field paths are closed to bikers.

From the Schliersbergalm very steep, short, gravelly section

Christian's description is accurate. Access is closed (even for cyclists) after the gravel path, the descent in the upper section is hardly visible (overgrown with grass) and not really rideable, at least for me with a hardtail.

The 3rd section is really not worthwhile, overgrown, muddy and blocked.

Actually not far from the hustle and bustle at the Schliersbergalm. Despite this, not many people wander up here. The view is limited. Below the summit there is still some view of the lake. At the summit itself you only look south towards Brecherspitz and co. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place, decorated with a bench and summit cross.

According to the signs, the ascent from Erzherzog Johann Klause is officially prohibited. The upper part is more like S3 (muddy and steep), but can be pushed within 5 minutes if necessary. The lower part is up to the forest path S1-2, sometimes quite slippery on the wooden steps. There are a few trees in the way, but these are easy to climb over.

Formerly a pure forest summit, the view towards Breitenstein is now clear due to tree felling and the summit destination is a worthwhile detour.
