Sorry, I can't find any indication that this area - Bielefeld Nature Park Trail - is reserved for mountain bikers.

The path is now quite demolished for several reasons (drought, bark beetles and MTB riders), i.e. the roots protrude excessively from the ground, the path is steep and full of "scree", the path is also overgrown with blackberries and Nettles or is partially exposed because the trees have been felled. I've been driving through it every now and then for 5 years: I don't really have to have it anymore.
