For me, Meersburg is one of the most beautiful places on Lake Constance. Nice restaurants in the lower town. A bit uphill it goes to the upper town. Nice restaurants and shops.

The avenue is named after the Swedish nobleman Count Lennart Bernadotte, who was responsible for transforming Mainau Island into the Flower Island. He died in 2004 at the age of 95 in his castle on Mainau Island, where he had lived since the end of World War II.

Very nice bike paths mostly along the lake from Friedrichshafen-Meersburg-Bodman. Cities are very beautiful with a promenade on the lake. Many places to stop for a break.
