Lowther‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪19‬개의 천연기념물

해발 671미터의 로드팟 힐(Loadpot Hill)과 그 삼각점은 아서스 파이크(Arthur's Pike)와 웨더 힐(Wether Hill) 사이에 있는 광활하고 평평한 정상에 자리 잡고 있습니다. 황량하고 평평한 정상에서는 주변 언덕들의 탁 트인 360도 전망을 감상할 수 있지만, 겨울철 강풍에는 악몽 같은 곳일 것이라는 것을 알 수 있습니다. 삼각점은 실제 정상은 아니며, 정상은 근처에 있지만 표시되어 있지 않습니다.

Arthur's Pike는 Bonscale Pike 바로 위에 있는 높이 533미터(1,749피트)의 웨인라이트 정상으로, 두 곳 모두 울스워터(Ullswater)를 내려다보는 탁 트인 전망을 자랑합니다. Loadpot Hill과 그 너머로 향하는 구간에 있다면 휴식을 취하기에 아주 좋은 장소입니다.

Hallin Fell은 Lake District에서 최고의 Wainwright 중 하나입니다. 이 388미터 높이의 폭포는 St Peter's Church 주차장에서 쉽게 접근할 수 있으며, 거기서부터 인상적인 3미터 높이의 돌 비콘까지 약 30분 정도 걸립니다. Ullswater를 바라보는 최고의 전망을 선사합니다. 또한 Martindale, Steel Knotts 및 기타 여러 언덕을 바라보는 전망도 있습니다. 정말 아름다운 장소입니다.

The Cockpit is a 3,500–5,000-year-old Bronze Age stone circle (27m diameter) located on Moor Divock in the Lake District National Park, overlooking Ullswater. It features roughly 70–75, mainly recumbent, stones set into a circular embankment, likely serving as a prehistoric gathering place. It is accessible via walking trails from Askham or Pooley Bridge.

Steel Knotts (432m) rocky summit tor is the querky-named Pikeawassa. It is a knobbly ridge extending down from Wether Hill towards Howtown.
