Nicely hidden in the forest when you come from Toplitzsee.

The narrow path is partly overgrown and you have to go a bit into the forest. Some of the glacial mills are again very green, or even overgrown, but on some you can see the endless power of nature that has drilled here.

If you take the bridle path back to the Gösselsee, an almost inconspicuous small path leads to the right to the glacier mills. These are holes that, when the glacier melts, are drilled through vortices and debris in a similar way to a drill through constant erosion.

Some might just say a bare rock, but others let it sink in and it's impressive to stand in front of this wall, you feel really small and tiny.

You can only reach the Kammersee and the waterfall behind it, which is considered to be the origin of the Traun, with the Plätten ferry from the Fischerhütte on the Toplitzsee. You can then explore the lake, which changes greatly in size throughout the year, and the waterfall on foot. Then the boat takes you back.

Easy but very nice to drive.

Beautiful green shimmering lake. Very natural. Trips with "wooden barges" are offered.

If you take the path right along the wall you get a good idea of what an athletic feat it is to climb up there!!
