Pretty little castle that can be seen from far away

The ascent to the right via the hiking trail is very steep and fun. Unfortunately, you can't see much of the Schlössli itself and you have no view. One of the fronts is quite nice though. Access to the restaurant in the Schlössli is limited in time. The Schlössli is nice to look at from afar, e.g. from the Alt Wartburg.

Today discovered the pretty castle in Auenstein by chance. Small but nice😀

Was once again on a visit, a jewel of a small palace complex with outbuildings, is partially surrounded by a moat.

Super nice, well-preserved lock. Unfortunately closed in the Corona era.

This Schlössli is worth the climb. Currently (Corona) there is even a kiosk when the weather is nice!
