A round trip was not possible in April because there was too much rubble on the steep path. We then walked back from the highest point along the same steep path. It was very beautiful.

Veliki Kabal, at 4,393 feet (1339 m), is the highest summit on the Mosor massif that dominates the landscape between Split and Omiš. As with many of the high summits in the Dinaric Alps, it offers stupendous views down to the Adriatic Sea, as well as of Split and along the Mosor Ridge. There are two mountain huts in the area: the Dom Umberto Girometta and the Planinarsko sklonište Kontejner.
