Warning! In our opinion, this trail is not suitable for beginners and can only be completed with good footwear. The way there is steeply downhill on bare rock. The trail is very poorly marked! The way back is accordingly difficult and demanding uphill. However, the effort is worth it because the waterfall is very beautiful.

As you descend into the canyon, you'll be greeted by the soothing sound of cascading water and the breathtaking beauty of the falls. With its crystal-clear waters plunging into a deep pool below, it is a sight to behold.

You drive through gigantic birch forests and finally, at 2896 m, you have an overwhelming view of the plain shining in all colors.

Look up to see the petroglyphs. On the sandstone wall, you will find about 100 engraved hands. It is an easy hike from the parking lot that can be done by families as well.

The magnificent 130-foot-high Escalante Natural Bridge is one of the main sights along Escalante River. The hike from UT-12 can usually be done in about one hour and should not be missed when in the area.

Take the trail. In the beginning, something stony for that you will really be happy with nature in the end.

The slim waterfall, which falls directly into a small water pond. The pond is in principle easy to walk on (sand), but the water is (in September) ice cold.

Interesting path to the waterfall of the same name. Rarely leads very close to the river, rather a little above.
