At an elevation of 3,735 feet, Shelburne Moriah Mountain is the most northern summit in the Carter Range. The peak, like a lot of the ridge, is open and has panoramic views of the valleys and peaks surrounding the area. A cairn marks the official top of the mountain, and it's just a short trek to other peaks and viewpoints along the ridge.
