The Pinnacle is a summit along Bartram Trail, a craggy peak that is very unique in the area because of its rock formation, plus the panoramic views of Nantahala makes the hike there very special.

Standing Indian Mountain, at 5499 ft, is the highest point along Nantahala River. This Mountain was part of the Cherokee territory, and its name in the native language was Yunwitsule-nunyi, which translates to "where the man stood." This is a beautiful hike in any season, with abundant forest and amazing summit views.

This waterfall is located in a lush and green valley, surrounded by rhododendron trees. The trail leading there follows Hemp Patch Branch Creek, with a series of shallow waterfalls along the way.

Whiterock Mountain is a 4469 ft summit that lies along Bartram Trail, the peak has a big monolithic rock that is a very nice place to appreciate the views of the Appalachian Mountains, with the trees growing in the crags of the rock. The hike through the well-marked wooded Bartram Trail makes it even more special.

Siler Bald is a grassy mountain summit that delivers expansive views of Nantahala. From there you can see Wayah Bald Fire Tower, Wine Spring Bald and Albert Mountain. The open field on top of the mountains with the views of the trees is a real treat.

This trail leads you along Glen Falls, which is known for being a triple waterfall. The upper and middle falls offer the most stunning views, but it's worth it to see all three.

Nice Waterfalls next to the Highway 64. Definitely worth the stop. There are only paid parking places ($3).
