A wonderful path through the dunes, even with a wheelchair-accessible option! While paved with planks at times, the path mostly leads over sand.

The memorial was erected in 1995, 50 years after the end of World War II. It was designed by the artist John McEwan.

Bluffer's Park was developed to improve public access to the Scarborough Bluffs and is easily accessible via roadway. Parking is chargeable. Located just outside of the tourist highlights, you can have a great view eastwards towards the city center from here. It's also much quieter here.

Bank Swallows (also called Sand Martins) are found in areas that contain vertical banks such as riverbanks, bluffs by lakes/ocean and in human constructed sand pits where they build their nests by digging holes in the vertical surface.
