Bonales Oriental is one of the most outstanding peaks of the Sierra de Tentudía, located in Calera de León. It is an ideal route for hiking lovers looking to enjoy nature and spectacular views.

Located between the Monsalud and Rozallana mountains, rolling along beautiful and picturesque trails combined with sigletracks, we are in the area of the route of the Twelve Apostles, planned by the Nature Classroom of the Popular University of Salvaleón and which owes its name to the existence of twelve hundred-year-old cork oaks (currently seven).

Mount Bonales (also known as Cerro Bonales or Cumbre Bonales) is, at 1,055 meters, the highest elevation in the Spanish province of Huelva. A fantastic tour of the natural park, enjoying cork oaks, holm oaks, oaks, meadows, and enjoying its flora and fauna.

Very close to the town of Fuentes de León is this site that has been declared a Natural Monument and with good reason. It is a karstic set of caves, among which the Cueva del Agua, La Lamparilla, Sima Cochinos, Los Postes, Los Caballos and Cueva Masero stand out, they are between 500 and 540 million years old with great archaeological, geological and tourist value. of the whole area.

It is the second peak of Pico Bonales located on its eastern margin at 1059 meters above sea level within the province of Badajoz. Very close to here is the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park.

Also known as the "roof of Huelva" this peak at 1055 masl represents the physical limit between the province of Huelva and Badajoz. The massif has 2 well-marked summits and this one in particular is located in the province of Huelva.

Route the 12 Apostles. This route originates as an activity of the Nature Classroom of the Popular University of Salvaleón. It is a circular route of 16.5km, of moderate difficulty.
