My favorite route, especially because much has been made possible on a fairly flat terrain. This route is well maintained by many volunteers and has become more beautiful over the years.

This has now become my favorite route; not too far from home, usually in tip top condition, because the route is very well maintained. Just a fun route to drive regularly.

Perhaps the nicest segment of this mountain bike route; many hills, drops and bends in all sizes. My kids even wanted to go over this a second time.

I ride this MTB route myself very regularly. You can alternate by, for example, starting from a different parking lot, so that the different parts are more at the beginning or more at the end of your lap. You can also choose whether or not, or half of the extra loop, which, in addition to a beautiful winding single track, also has various TTFs (technical trail features). Not very difficult, but you can choose to bypass them; So-called "chicken runs" have been created for this purpose. In the summer you could even choose to park at the swimming pond so that you can take a refreshing dip after your round. What is also very nice is that the builders have given the various pieces names.

Starting point for the best cycling routes: rent bicycles, e-bikes and mountain bikes, repair station, charge e-bikes, workshop for racing bikes and MTBs. There are also many (free) route maps available here, including the Colony of Benevolence, but also various MTB routes in the Drents Friese Wold (just a few kilometers away). Open outside the high season on Friday to Sunday from 10am - 6pm. More often during holidays and outside by appointment.

Route is varied, lots of single track and right through beautiful nature reserves!
