Starting point for the best cycling routes: rent bicycles, e-bikes and mountain bikes, repair station, charge e-bikes, workshop for racing bikes and MTBs. There are also many (free) route maps available here, including the Colony of Benevolence, but also various MTB routes in the Drents Friese Wold (just a few kilometers away). Open outside the high season on Friday to Sunday from 10am - 6pm. More often during holidays and outside by appointment.

The red route of Appelscha is a nice challenging route in the Boswachterij Appelscha. You will find nice flowy single trails with sharp short climbs and nice descents with, among other things, various carrot parties and some small drops. Fun turning and turning. A route that gives the more experienced rider a big smile!

Lovely flow trail through the forest with short steep climbs and fun descents. Quite a lot of carrot carpets, some small drops and therefore a beautiful playground!

Very nice singletrack through the Aekingerzand! Particularly beautiful in August when the heather blooms. Dry and loose sand in many places in the summer

This is a beautiful MTB route that mainly runs through varied forests. The route offers a nice variety, with winding and flow single tracks and longer straight paths. Doable for most MTB riders, both novice and experienced riders.
