Very beautiful (albeit small) beach on the rocky Algarve, right next to the Hotel Suites Alba Resort & Spa. Can be very stormy at times! There is a small beach bar (O'Pirata). Much visited by locals. When the sea is calm, there is a rocky passage to the neighboring beach (Praia da Estaquinha). Top! Certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in the ALGARVE. When the weather is nice it can get very crowded.

This well-marked hiking trail between Praia de Marinha and Praia de Vale Centeaes is popular for its breathtaking views and the beautiful rock formations that hang over the water. The path is easy for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness, although there is some scrambling here and there.
