타기 좋은 주변 환경입니다. 일부 도로는 꽤 부드러웠으므로 더 넓은 타이어도 괜찮을 것입니다.

The oldest rhododendrons were planted in 1975, when a research garden for the University of Helsinki’s plant breeding programme was established together with the Public Works Department. Pekka Jyränkö, City Gardener from 1975 to 1995, was among the main drivers behind the project. Rhododendrons prefer acidic soil and so were planted in a natural marsh area. Paths were also constructed. The University of Helsinki and the City of Helsinki originally planted 3000 rhododendron hybrids for research purposes. The aim of the plant breeding programme was to create varieties that were suitable for the Finnish climate and diverse in terms of their growth and the colours of their flowers.

Source: https://vihreatsylit.fi/en/alppiruusupuisto/ The peak blooming season for both the rhododendrons and the azaleas is early June. The azaleas bloom first and sometimes longer than the rhododendrons, even after midsummer. The splendour of the flowers varies with each year; generally a good year is followed by a more modest one. Pine trees create a canopy for the flowering plants. Thousands of Helsinki residents and gardening enthusiasts visit the park each year to witness the spectacle.

Espoo has several meadows whose species-richness is maintained by mowing them annually. Volunteers helped nurture these valuable habitats created by traditional farming methods in community event that was hold at the Laajalahti nature reserve. The volunteers built haystacks to delight passers-by and breathe life into the rural everyday design that has mostly become history. The meadow community effort in the Laajalahti nature reserve already has a long tradition. The hay is cut with a mowing machine beforehand. The volunteers raised them the hay-poles, rake up the hay, and pile it in stacks on the poles.

Laajalahti Nature Reserve is the best bird watching area in southern Finland. The area protects a shallow bay and is important for numerous breeding birds and thousands of birds that stop over during their migration. In addition, the Laajalahti nature reserve is a great recreational area with nature trails, viewpoints and educational tours (bird and bat watching) and the Villa Elfvik nature house. You will find there several nature trails along the Villa Elfvik. You can choose from 700m, 800m, and 1,3km trails or head to a 2,9km long trail connecting Laajalahti with Otaniemi district. If you are looking for a longer hike, you can start by the Gallen-Kallela Museum and continue along the sea following the 40km long Espoo Waterfront Walkway. The shortest 700m trail is also accessible with wheelchairs and strollers, as well as entering the Nature House Villa Elfvik.

Roll along beautifully winding gravel roads along the shoreline and enjoy nature. There is also a great viewpoint right here for bird watching.
