라우카‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪5‬개의 천연기념물

Hitonhauta is the largest gorge in central Finland. You can find impressive cliffs, a waterfall, a small pond and some caves here. According to legend, this is the tomb of an evil spirit named Hitto, who lived here. Apparently, his petrified face can be seen on the rock face in the gorge.

With its rocky landscape, this approximately 100-meter-high hill is a beautiful hiking destination. The area is protected and part of the Natura 2000 network.

The wide rapids of Kuusa are cultural heritage landscape and are particularly popular with fishermen who hunt for trout here.

There are up to 200 paintings on the rocks of Saraakallio. The oldest rock painting was created around 6,600 years ago. One of them shows a moose. To get to the paintings, leave your bike and follow the short path to the shore.

Super nice place! They have a coffee shop next to the stream, at least in the summertime! And you can also find a fire place!

Very beautiful rock formations and caves are to be visited. Unfortunately not easy to commit.

This way is not that easy to go. With stroller or wheelchair completely impossible. It has to be climbed a lot over rocks and partially over fallen trees
