While the stairs from the cafe are broken and unusable, the stairs on the other side are still available and lead down to the bottom. There's a place to rest and enjoy a particularly good view of the waterfall. At the top of the stairs is the information board about the Stalpet itself.

The reserve parking lot is located directly next to a farm. It has space for approximately 5-6 vehicles. An information board provides all the important information about the reserve, as well as a very short hiking route. But be careful! The most important information is missing. From March 1 to August 31, the reserve is protected, and access to the area around the observation tower is prohibited. This also includes the path within the reserve itself. Therefore, a visit during this time hardly makes sense.

It's hard to see in the winter photos, but there really is a staircase made of natural stone leading up here.

The tour follows Höglandsleden for the first 9 km. Nice gravel roads back to Säsvsjö
