Beautiful descent to Lake Melo from the Bocca Soglia. Good marking and good to walk. Beautiful stream and a great view of the Melosee!

The climb from the west to the pass is short but steep. At the top there are some bivouacs and the path to Lac de Rinoso, where you can swim, branches off.

Scharte at 2050 m on the GR 20. To the north there is a path to Lac de Melo, which lies deep below. From there it is not far to Corte.
