A cozy mountain hut with very friendly staff. From the dining tables, you have a view of the large reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stays are available in small dormitories.

The Windgällenhütte, located at 2,032 m in the picturesque Maderanertal, offers 60 beds in nine bright rooms, each with 4-15 beds equipped with Nordic blankets and pillows. The facility is open from the beginning of June to mid-October, while in the winter period there is a winter room with 8 beds, accessible by telephone reservation.
