Good road surface, little traffic, relatively easy to drive (<7% gradient). Take drinks with you, as it's very hot in summer and the next town doesn't come until after you leave (Collobrieres, but it's very worth it!!)

Beautiful climb from the north (Collobrières). Not super steep, but long enough. The crossing to Bormes-les-Mimosas is simply beautiful
