The fine Schesaplana Hut is located at 1,908 m. It offers overnight accommodation in the camp or in double rooms. Dogs are allowed in the double rooms. Half board is offered (it was great). Very friendly team 😊

Heidi, the love of my childhood, lived here. I spent countless hours with this beautiful story, crying and laughing. A beautiful piece of earth, you can imagine what it was like back then.

The Schweizer Steig is the shortest climb from the Schesaplanahütte to the Schesaplana. It is an alpine climb of category T4. Therefore, it should be enjoyed with caution when descending, especially when it is wet. Until 45 minutes before the summit of the Schesaplana you can always see views back to the Schesaplana hut.

The Schesaplana Hut is a mountain hut in the best sense of the word: original, but still beautifully and lovingly made, with a few comforts like a warm shower (3 minutes for 7 CHF in 2023). The rooms in the main building are a dream, there is also a sink in the hallway and the toilet in the stairwell. The kitchen is very good and the Bircher muesli in the morning is the best I can remember. There is an annex with two more rooms and the storage room. In the hallway you can charge your cell phone in the evening. There is also a winter room. From the Schesaplana Hut you can reach the Pfälzer Hut in the direction of Lichtenstein, the Totalp Hut and Douglass Hut in the direction of Lünersee Austria and the Carschina Hut in the direction of Engadin Switzerland.
