Beautifully situated mountain lake with small huts 🛖. Highly recommended is the Berghaus Erika, rustically furnished rooms and the toilet area as a shared toilet (2 showers and 2 toilets) was clean and brand new than in some hotels. We also had the 3-course menu for the evening, which was a dream.

The Gafiersee is a wonderful lake, fresh, at an altitude of 2,305 meters and when do you ever have the opportunity to go swimming at this altitude? The location is wonderfully sheltered, so that the water was quite pleasantly refreshing.
