You can reach the 2,653-meter-high summit of the Weisshorn either by taking a strenuous but very worthwhile hike, or by taking the cable car in a very relaxed manner while sitting down. A fantastic view in all directions awaits you at the top.

Obersee (Arosa) The Obersee is the larger and higher of the two lakes located in the middle of the Arosa settlement area. Its name also derives from this fact. The sister lake at 1691 m is the Untersee, to which it is directly connected via the Mittelbach. The Arosa reservoir is around 130 meters lower in the valley floor and the Schwarzsee is 400 meters east. Before Arosa's development from a mountain farming village to a health resort in the second half of the 19th century, the Obersee was also known as the Upper Chureralpsee.
