The Adlerhorstsattel is a prominent elevation in the Kaiserstuhl, a low mountain range in south-west Germany. With a height of about 270 meters, it is not the highest peak in the range, but still offers an impressive view of the surrounding landscape. The name of the Adlerhorstsattel goes back to the former settlement of imperial eagles, who once built their nests here. The Adlerhorstsattel is also a popular place for paragliding and hang-gliding, as there are often good thermal conditions here.
