An absolutely fantastic place. You have to earn it a little, but it's worth it! Great panoramic view of the mountains and Lake Constance. Two wooden huts invite you to take a rest, and everything is available for a barbecue. If you have a sleeping mat and sleeping bag with you, you could also spend the night here. A few meters further on is the Naturfreundehaus, which welcomes guests at the weekend.

Wonderful view. At the top you can also strengthen yourself in the restaurant. The descent is indicated on signs with 1 hour and 15 minutes. It took us a little less than an hour. Going up takes a little longer. According to Komoot, it was 510 meters in altitude and some sections are very steep. The cable car runs every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Sundays only until 9 p.m.).

The shipping pier is only a few meters (you have to go through a signposted underpass) away from the rack railway station or Rheineck station. This is where the excursion boat "Rheineck" docks/departs for trips through the Old Rhine.

Restaurant St Anton, Oberegg If you stop by the farmhouse parlor of the St. Anton restaurant today, you might be surprised at the bullet hole in the ceiling, which is marked with the year 1798. The house was only completed in 2008. In its place was one of the oldest Oberegger houses, the Rössli, built in 1605. Parts of the farmhouse parlor were removed from the Rössli before demolition in order to find a place again in the new St. Anton restaurant.
