You can reach the beautifully situated alpine pasture via the mountain road from Liezen. Enjoy the view of the Grimming and Hochtauning. You can stop off at the snack bar. From here you have the option of hiking to the Nazogl including Angerkogel and Kossenspitz. The circular hike via the Angeralm and Albl hunting lodge is highly recommended.

The old cemetery in Liezen was laid out around 1789 and used until 1960. The cemetery area is under monument protection and about 1/3 of the tombstones are still preserved, some of which have been restored.

Strechau Castle was mentioned in a document as early as 1074 and was converted into a Renaissance castle in the middle of the 16th century. It is the second largest castle in Styria. The Steyr-Kfz-Museum shows exhibits from the car production of the Steyr-Werke from the years 1920 to 1941. Many of the exhibits are even ready to drive and can be rented for special occasions. Classic car lovers get their money's worth here!

Heilige Bründl is a place of pilgrimage with a spring and a statue of Mary. The spring water is said to have healing properties. For example, it is said to have helped blind people regain sight. On your hike, it certainly doesn't hurt to pause for a moment at the Heiligen Bründl.
