The large parking lot directly at the nature park no longer exists. Now you have to park in Cala Agulla, not far from the roundabout, and walk along the beach to the nature park.

The nature reserve is definitely worth a hike. The constant views of the sea and small hidden bays make this area very attractive.

The flat peninsula Sa Punta de N'Amer is the only undeveloped coastal area far and wide. The 200 hectare nature park protects sand dunes and pine groves as a habitat for a species-rich flora. In the middle of the headland rises the fort, which was built in the 17th century to protect against pirate attacks. You can visit the castle for free via a very narrow staircase - the view is worth it. However, the fort is smaller than I thought. At the fort there is a restaurant with a great view and not that great coffee - but at moderate prices (good to know: there is self-service).
