A few steps behind the Witch Museum is the entrance to the Witches' Cave "Las Cuevas de Zugarramurdi". The cave is impressive. You can walk in and around the cave to see viewpoints, waterfalls, bridges, etc. You can expect a visit of 60-90 minutes. The entrance fee is 6 euros (2024), which is not much for a well-preserved cave.

Also known as "the witches' cave", this impressive complex of caves and galleries will surprise you. The main cavity was eroded by a strong current of water known as the Regata del Infierno. In its widest area, the cave has a length of 120 m, by about 22 to 26 m and an average height of 10 m. The set is completed with two higher galleries, an impressive place of immense dimensions! The first loop from the bidarray car park is impassable. When you leave the road to take the black route to go to point 3, the paths are not maintained at all and are covered in brambles. The scree in which we are supposed to evolve next was frankly slippery (yet no recent rain) and many trees and branches largely blocked the road. The stones are also very unstable. For me the path is not passable as it is (October 2021). The topo section indicates slopes of 50% (!??) it was much less steep but not easier! Although we are regulars in the mountains, we chose to turn back! I advise against.

The ascent takes place on well-trodden paths, but some are steep. Once at the top you have a great view of the French and Spanish Pyrenees and the sea.

Going up is a nice route, however many tourists. Don't take the suggested route down. This route suggests a different route down, but that route is not present from the top.
