The “El Parterre” garden, also called Plaça d'Alfons el Magnànim, was created in 1850 on the site of the old Plaça de la Duana. The park has hardly been changed to this day. The monument in honor of King Jaume I was erected there in 1891 and, in addition to the ancient, magnificent trees, is still a real eye-catcher today. Worth seeing!

Starting point to cross the plateau of Les Penyes de Guaita (east direction). Further down, in the first urbanization of the Sant Esperit valley, you can find tracks suitable for mountain biking or gravel that lead to the monastery or, on the other side, to the Mola de Segart.
