This cliff of Sakoneta is linked to that of Mendata. The path follows the very edge of the cliffs and overlooks secluded coves, soft rock walls, cascading streams and one of the largest tidal flats in Europe.
This hexagonal-shaped hermitage from the 18th century was built because the previous one was in ruins.

This 770 meter high summit is an excellent vantage point from which to observe the mountains that surround us. It is an outcrop of slate.
At its vertex, in addition to beautiful views, you can find several mailboxes.
The Portutxiki viewpoint is located on the Flysch Route, in the Basque Coast Geopark. The viewpoint has an information panel on the geology of the place and offers spectacular views of the sedimentary rocks.
