라바노 데 알리스테‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪4‬개의 천연기념물

Peña el Pingón is a prominent natural landmark on the hiking trails of Alcañices. Located in a spectacular setting, it is one of the most highly recommended spots by both local and visiting hikers. At the base of Peña el Pingón, or in its immediate vicinity, lies a cave, seamlessly integrated into the surrounding rocky landscape. It adds to the area's charm and is a popular stopping point on hiking routes.

Following the undulating curves of the Ribera de Arriba along the gravel track of the canyon, crossing paths through pine forests, the river is crossed by a small bridge. You can stop and cool off in the waters on a warm summer day.

At this point of the route we find the El Pingón rock located in a spectacular environment, just like the kilometers that lie ahead of us. In the place there is a cave and a picturesque bridge.

In Peña Beneita we will be able to contemplate the numerous petroglyphs (symbolic design engraved in rock, made by wearing away the superficial layer), which surround the landscape, a legacy of ancient inhabitants of these lands.

From the Canzona Bridge we can admire one of the many water retention dams restored in recent years that help to protect the fauna of this riverbank during the summer (crayfish, otter...) A beautiful place for lovers of the nature.

The town of Grisuela is well known in the Aliste region for its springs, one of which contains sulfur water, called "La Fidionda", with an unpleasant smell and taste, but appreciated for its healing powers for eczema and skin wounds. Grisuela is located in the Aliste region of Zamora, about 13 km from Alcañices, and borders with Portugal in a place that is difficult to access. For its term it crosses the Cebal river, a tributary of the Aliste.
