If you climb from the road to the summit of Maigmó, the elevation gain ranges between 700 and 800 meters, half that if you climb from the Balcón de Alicante. There are countless routes that start and end from the Balcón de Alicante, and just as many that lead to the summit. The Cantal del Pixaor ridge is only suitable for experts and those without height restrictions. It's recommended to bring some climbing gear to secure some sections, but the experience is incredible.

It's the most beautiful square in Alicante, and pleasant even on hot days thanks to its many trees. The giant ficus trees are particularly impressive. Small tapas bars and restaurants are located around the square.

A very beautiful place to relax in peace. 🚵 The trees are magnificent, typical of Parque Canalejas, and among the most well-known plants there. They are striking because of their enormous trunks, broad buttress roots, and hanging aerial roots that eventually reach the ground and develop into new trunk sections. Originally from Australia, they were planted in many Mediterranean cities in the 19th century as ornamental and shade trees.

With its summit at 1,296 meters high and its proximity to the sea, it allows you to enjoy exceptional panoramic views, being able to see the entire coastal strip from Benidorm to Torrevieja. It is part of a very important forest core and is therefore protected. Native flora and fauna of the Mediterranean mountains reign here, such as the Aleppo pine, of which you can see some exceptional specimens.
